Geoff is an Associate Principal at Ridley, working as a Project Architect on a number of notable projects. Currently, he is working on the Sandstones Precinct, which comprises of two historic sandstone administrative buildings. These are to be carefully converted into a prestigious hotel development, a project that has been classified as a State Significant Development.The conversion of these two buildings into high end hotel suites, function rooms, restaurants, bars and a retail precinct creates some challenging planning, structural and services opportunities working within strict heritage conservation guidelines and development envelopes.
Geoff’s role is to coordinate the structural and services consultant roles within the architectural brief and to assist in the crossflow of information, ideas and options within the initial Design Development phase, all within the parameters of the Development Application documentation.
Previously, Geoff has held roles including Project Architect, Associate Architect and Director, working across a portfolio of retail, residential, hospitality, commercial and industrial projects.
