For Henry, a willingness and openness to learn is what drives him and it’s infectious. Ask anyone who has had the pleasure to work with him during his extensive career and they’ll tell you about his unique ability to bring out the best in people and projects.
When Henry first arrived in Australia, Gough Whitlam had just become Prime Minister. It was an exciting and inspiring time and vastly different to his birthplace of South Korea. A qualified architect, but with little experience, Henry returned to university to study his degree all over again, igniting a love of learning that has never left him.
Henry specialises in the delivery of large design and construct projects with a value of up to $620m. He has overseen the design, documentation and construction of a range of project types, including hospitals, defence, commercial towers, retail centres, universities, technical colleges, high schools and corrective services.
A master project director, he loves creating the conditions for everyone to thrive and succeed. His core principle is that people are at the centre of all projects regardless of size and scope.
After a long and rewarding career at Woods Bagot and the NSW Department of Public Works, Henry joined Ridley, where his wide-ranging project experience and mentoring skills perfectly compliment Ridley’s dynamic team.
