On Thursday, December 1st, Ridley teamed up with Make Architects to participate in Habitat for Humanity’s “Brush with Kindness” program. Through this program, volunteers carry out light construction, landscaping and maintenance tasks to assist those in need.
The team worked on the ONE80TC project, a refuge centre for those who require drug and alcohol rehabilitation, assisting by painting the entire administration building. The team was also able to share morning tea and lunch with the residents, learning more about the program and how it’s helping these individuals change their lives.
This initiative will become part of an ongoing program in which Ridley continues to partner with our industry peers to support the work of Habitat for Humanity. We hope to extend this to a full build in the Philippines during 2017. For more information on Habitat for Humanity and volunteering opportunities, visit their website at http://habitat.org.au/
