‘When you think of virtual reality, you think of fancy headsets used for gaming and entertainment, but what if the technology could be applied to make life decisions, such as building a house, easier? That is one hope of architecture firm Ridley and Co, based in Sydney, which has a dedicated VR lab.’

At Ridley, we’re constantly looking at how we can apply new technologies to improve the process and experience of project delivery. Lately, we’ve been experimenting with VR and gaming engines. Although VR is relatively young in it’s development, we are excited to begin trialling it for the purposes of project collaboration, visual demonstrations and improving design outcomes for our clients.
