Welcome to Alex Stojevski who joined our growing Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team, which were recently appointed onto several large-scale projects including The Ribbon, 477 Collins Street and the Global Switch Sydney East Data Centre.
Prior to joining Ridley, Alex worked at Laing O’Rourke, initially as a planning and project controls engineer on the Moorebank Units Relocation project. More recently, Alex was a Site Engineer on the Easy Access Station Upgrade Project in Flemington Sydney. Through the varying roles Alex had a great exposure to digital design and construction processes and especially through 4D construction sequencing, 3D model creation, managing the major subcontracts, shut-down / possession sequencing and site establishment plans.
In 2013 Alex also spent six months working in Qatar for Hochtief ViCon (one of the world’s leading BIM service providers) working on The Nile Corniche Project in Cairo, which is one of the largest construction projects in Egypt.
When asked why he joined Ridley Alex said “Ridley’s innovative approach to BIM really appealed to me. To be able to work with such a highly skilled and regarded team in the industry was something I could not pass up on”.
